If that’s the case, the person with the good ground game would benefit. You make contact with voters that last day before voting, as Cruz’s volunteers did, and the late-breaking folks may break for you. Iowa also had a lot of late-breaking decisions and they didn’t go for Trump, which probably cost him the win there.

We’ll see what happens.

I’ll tell you one thing though. I am sick of the venom. We have way too much at stake to make a game out of this. But then, I hate politics. What I like is government that simply does its job. Either Trump or Cruz could probably do a good job, and any of the candidates would be better than the D alternative.

In fact, both Cruz and Rubio got more of the late-breaking voters than Trump.
