I did read the article. Like I said, I haven't heard him say that stuff. Not saying he didn't say it, just disagree with your conclusions, even if he did say that stuff as you are noting. The point being, the kind of thing you are pointing to is everything that Bernie says, and it's a small fraction of what Trump says. He's as far from Bernie as we are from the moon. Period. No apologies for that statement.

You (rightly so) have criticized Trump for attacking other candidates from the left.

I think you need to do a restart. Describing Trump as a socialist, or just like Bernie is NOT the right way to attack him, it's similar to Trump criticizing from the left.

There IS a conservative case for Trump, and it's one that is important to understand clearly. He's NOT the clear conservative candidate, he will not be a full conservative as president, it's likely we'll be bitten in the butt multiple times. It's the central things he speaks about, those are the things that form the conservative case for Trump, and they make it well.
