In short, if we get Trump as president we will get a fixer and he will make America great again. But we may lose some Constitutional rights and will have to make sure Congress keeps him in check.

Cognitive dissonance. How is America "great again" with diminished Constitutional rights?

“we may lose some Constitutional rights”

Words I never thought I’d see on Free Republic with the tone of such acquiescence.

My response to that:

“If you love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home from us in peace. We seek not your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you; May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.” —Sam Adams

I don't think it is cognitive dissonance. Just keeping more of our hard-earned money is a great step forward albeit supported by other candidates especially Cruz. But also American greatness in his mind is mainly economic greatness. America will become more competitive and lead the world in all tech areas again.
