Well, I thought the line was hilarious, and I'm not a Cruz supporter. Very witty!

On the other hand, Cruz can't even claim a solo third, because Jeb! has declared himself a "virtual tie" for third.

Despicable RINO.

Joking aside, Cruz outperformed my expectations in New Hampshire. That wasn't friendly terrain. Congrats to him and his supporters.

I thought Cruz acted as if Megyn Kelly was queen of conservatives when she attacked Trump and laughed at his joke at the Iowa debate.

I’m just disappointed I missed seeing Megyn and crew saddened to the point of depression by the performance of their guy last night. I need to use the DVR more often.

Excellent point. Christie’s run wasn’t wasted in the larger scheme.

Ted is as good at comedy as he is at getting something done in the Senate. Send the clown back to Canada.

Although not a Cruz supporter, he is right. On CNN last night, they were basically ignoring Trump and focusing on Kasich, Bush and Rubio.

Second, fourth and fifth are the new first, second and third.

Cruz's sense of humor is a real bonus on top of all the other pluses he offers. Did you catch his latest ad with kids having fun with a Trump action-figure?

The battle is on for DONOR CLASS money, incl the big Koch money to come in. Currently, Rubio is financed by Silicon Valley, Cruz's puppetmasters are Goldman Sachs and NY investment banks (and don't forget Big Oil, who'll need big favors by next January and will expect them). Both Donors requiring from their candidate open borders, millions more H1B visas, "free trade" (aka Obamatrade, i.e., US gets screwed) no deportations, accept all Muslims and Syrian rapefugees, TPP, North American Union, bailouts, and most importantly, globalism.

They aren't fighting about any kind of issues LOL. It's about who will the Donors fund (and therefore control.) My money is on Cruz---no president in HISTORY has a wife so highly placed (soon to be a partner) in an investment bank that was part of a 700 billion dollar scam, someone who is literally bedfellows with the POTUS but totally beholding to, with a career both in the White House as adviser and also in JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs and Wall street, World Bank president and Goldman Sachs officer Robert Zoellick and Father of TPP and "Free Trade" Robert Pastor. Banksters and Fed Reserve never ever had someone on the inside, so highly placed, in the history of the United States.

With a phone call Cruz can get millions from his boss and his wife's boss Goldman Sachs. (In returned for influence of course.) Not sure Rubio is there yet with Silicon Valley because their economy out there is not doing great.

Christie's wife is a $700,000 managing director with a Wall Street Investment bank (as is Heidi Cruz.)

I think Christie wouldn't play ball. Gotta admire him for that. (He'd rather be free to close bridges and such to squeeze enemies old-skool, mob style.) Christie wouldn't sell out or he could have had all the money Heidi is rounding up for Ted ("Heidi, I need a million" "Ted, just call Bob in the morning; he'll handle it." "But would you do it, it's so humiliating, Heidi." "No Ted, you're the one they're buying--so YOU get them to send you the money.")

And he only spent about five hundred thousand, and spent next to the least number of days campaigning there. In other words, he never tried for it, and still managed to pull off a third place finish. Very impressive indeed!

Ted Cruz’s average donation is $88 from some 800,000 contributors.

I think it was Steve Doocey on Fox and Friends this a.m. that said they put in daily calls to Cruz and a few others to ask them to come on the show and they don’t reply or won’t.
