I think many democrats get it ... but refuse to publicly acknowledge it because their dogma of political correctness trumps their fears about islam. I also think many dems find homosexuality personally disgusting yet bow to political correctness. Many dems personally manage their household finances like conservatives yet vote for liberal dems out of some sense they are supposed to do it. I think what many dems do in private is at odds with their public affiliation with liberal dems. They are hypocrites.
I think that’s because Maher is an actual liberal, and not just a brainwashed leftist.
Mahr was raised a Catholic, so I think that’s why he gets it.
He was taught to recognize evil, and accept it for what it is.
Most of his communist buds see all religion as a problem. But give Islam a pass. He sees the difference.
