Apparently women in any sort of danger repel "men" because they take off the moment one is in trouble.
Dad walks with daughter in the park, meets up with gang bangers, dad runs off.
Husband walks with wife on beach, meets up with rapist, husband runs off.
Both real recent cases of the lack of real men. If you want historical evidence I can supply that too.
But there is no lack of "men" who run around claiming that it is either women in general or particular who are the cause of their being attacked.

I’m a man who thinks women are responsible for their own well-being (in the same manner as any man). I couldn’t live with myself if I abandoned a female relative or acquaintance in a time of need, but that’s where my responsibility ends. TV commercials are filled with women playing martial arts, etc. - they are apparently at least as capable as me.
