the only one killed was the one who refused to stay in his truck and was reaching for a his gun.
It's clear to me that at least one round had already come through the windshield before the vehicle ever came to a stop. Can't say I blame him for not wanting to stay in the driver's seat under those circumstances. I mean, if you get out with your hands high in the air, they're not going to shoot you down like a dog, right? Right?
There's no proof that he was reaching for a weapon.

And even if you are unarmed, reaching for your pocket when armed cops are telling you to keep your hands up is generally not a good career move. Do you think you could keep your hands high in the air after you'd been gut shot?
