(CNN)The national spokesman for Ted Cruz's presidential campaign is calling the Donald Trump campaign "the Seinfeld candidacy," because as he puts it, "The whole campaign is about nothing."
Rick Tyler told CNN's Erin Burnett that Trump says "nothing about immigration, nothing about job creation, nothing about what's going on in North Korea, nothing about ISIS. I mean this is amazing."
Tyler said Cruz is running a campaign about conservative issues and that Trump fails to discuss the issues because he isn't a true conservative.
Both Trump and Cruz are eying key primaries in southern states starting with South Carolina, which holds its primary February 20.
Tyler added that "Donald Trump's own worst enemy is himself." ...

Some desire more than knowing where a candidate stands. They desire--no require--a candidate who can get things done.

Nothing about immigration? Seriously? If it wasn’t for Trump the BushBots in the Cruz campaign wouldn’t even be talking about it. Cruz is such a phony.
Cruz is certainly getting very bad advice on continuing attacks on Donald Trump. This has not worked for any other candidate and it won’t work for him either, Trump is a different type of candidate altogether. Cruz needs to recognize this and avoid wasting fire on Trump. He should be quicker to realize this, so I wonder op if the GOPe has slipped into his group of advisors. Those guys are flipping dinosaurs when it comes to political know-how.
If it wasn’t for Trump, the entire gop field would be running and hiding from the issue of illegal immigration.
We’ve had enough of lawyers turned politicians who specialize only in running their mouth. We need someone who has a track record running a business which and actually creating jobs, and completing projects ahead of schedule and under budget.

Is not steel and glass construction and accounting and making money and dealing with all sorts of people doing nothing? Is not having vision and then doing more real than having vision and then only voting?
Cruz has no real record
Nothing about North Korea? Trump brought up North Korea 5 debates ago and The Bush and Rubio campaigns ridiculed him. They aren’t laughing now. The Cruz people really make me sick. Take a look at their resumes...GOPe Bush alumni all, down to Mr. And Mrs. Cruz themselves. Sorry, I don’t want a Bush third term masquerading as a ‘constitutional conservative.’
LOL! His "nothing" campaign has stirred the People to finally want to rise against an oppressive government.

This was such a great post. I like Trump just fine but agree that we need to go in a clear, opposite direction right now. The man that takes us there is Cruz.
If Trump should become the nominee, I shall willingly pull the lever for him as well!
Exactly - and I say that as a person who contributed to Cruz for 6 months and recently switched to trump - won't put either one down but will definitely boost the one I back by making folks think about it.

I have a whole heck of a lot less problem with Cruz’s former duel citizenship then I do with Trump’s (very recent) liberal past.
One is a situation caused by place of birth due to where his mother was at the time, the other is 60+ years of a liberal lifestyle supporting liberal causes and giving to liberal politicians.
One record has zero impact on how a man has behaved for 45 years, the other defines it.
You obviously have no problem with Trump’s flat out disgusting, yet very recent past.
