South Carolina has a lot of evangelicals that may not appreciate Trump’s obscene mouth. Many still love the Confederate Flag too and Trump believes it should be in museums. It is a South Carolina Values thing which is vastly different from NY values

I asked a friend of mine who works in a large hotel what he was hearing. His reply:

“I do talk quite a bit with guests (when it comes up) about the current political situation (though technically we aren’t supposed to) . I have to say that nine out of ten are on the same page... WORRIED about the country’s future - particularly older guests. Most like either Trump or Cruz. I do interact with a broad spectrum of people and the consensus is encouraging, I have to admit. I really feel sorry for the elderly couples as they worry the most. When I tell them what I’m telling you they take a lot of comfort. Funny that you ask. There are a lot of worried and stressed people out there. Hopefully they represent the largest voting block in November!
I personally like Trump. He may not be perfect but he’s a total Washington outsider, expresses the outrage we all feel, and DOESN’T put up with the political BS.”

SC is the state that keep electing Graham. Didn't Graham admit he would take the communist and Hillary over Trump? Very telling about his values.

SC also elected the controversial Nikki Haley, a hater of our history. Her SOU rebuttal alone made her a Democrat at heart.

I think a lot of them will vote for Trump but won’t say so publicly because of his so called vulgarities. Trump says nothing that isn’t said in every movie, T.V. show, book or whatever in the entire media. Hypocrites are afraid of being “outed.”

I live in Boise, Idaho so typically I run into conservatives but we do have a batch of Subaru driving bumper sticker liberals that pollute certain areas of town. Our primary is in March where plenty has already been decided.

I think I've seen Ben Carson stickers the most as I drive through town. I've only seen one Cruz sticker a few Bernie stickers and no Trump stickers.

The liberal women here like to use their 'Blue Girl, Red State' stickers on their vehicles. In response on my wife's car, I've got the 'Red Girl, Red State' sticker showing a woman holding a baby and an AR-15.

With it’s mix of proportional, threshold, and winner-take-all states, time is on the side of Trump and Cruz.

Some threshold states have thresholds as high as 20%. IOW, you make the threshold or you get zero percentage of the delegates up for grabs.

He’s going into SC with a lot of momentum from his huge, lopsided victory in NH.
You call it "a lopsided victory".

I call it a well deserved 1 - 2 bitch slap. I'm betting the #2 (Kasich) slap hurt the worst.

Most Americans don’t want a president who needs to be bleeped for foul language and crude humor during his public speeches and appearances. Perhaps that is why Donald Trump has the highest negatives in the history of polling for negatives (60%!).

Make that, one of the reasons why...there are other reason why his negatives are so high as well.

“but he’s a total Washington outsider”

Interesting that people have this perception.

He may not have been an elected official or politician but he has never been a Washington outsider.

His contributions, friends and contacts are all insiders, whether Washington or Manhattan/Wall Street.

Washington outsiders don’t have the Clintons come to their wedding.

I’m not trying to berate you or anything, it’s just odd that people have this idea that he is a Washington outsider.

Good news. Trump for the win. GO TRUMP GO

The business as usual crowd are the negative crowd and prefer to follow politicians straight down the line to the death of America.
ONE choice ONLY to save America as I knew it and get it back on the rails. TRUMP 2016.

Why is Trump the one choice? How can you possibly say that at the primary stage when your candidate has no record to back up his campaign promises? Indeed, his record goes in the complete operate direction up until about six months ago. I just don’t get that kind of thinking.

I might take a risk on a candidate with no record for a low-level elected position like school board. But there is no way I would risk my vote on a primary candidate with no record, unless everyone else in the race was absolutely horrible. But such is not the case because we have Ted Cruz with a 97%-100% conservative/pro-liberty VOTING RECORD.

I would vote for someone like Donald in the general if forced to, but not in the primary. Heck no, not in the primary.

Yes...Trump certainly knows all the ins and outs of how the game is played. I doubt if anyone will be able to slick him.

EXAMINE Ted Cruz’s voting record. It will not stand the light of day. He says one thing and does another. I will NEVER vote for any politician who deliberately votes to weaken America’s SOVEREIGNTY! OUR SOVEREIGNTY AS A NATION is the ESSENTIAL element in this election. TRUMP is the ONLY ONE Defending our right to be Americans first, last, and always! ALL the others go along with the New World Order direction of an enslaved America, subservient to Agenda 21 and what the WORLD wants. Wake up! Look at the REAL ISSUES!
