Oh boy, here comes the firestorm
I don’t see where a firestorm over this could legitimately come from. Trump identifies three distinct groups:
“The Republican Party”
“Conservatives”
And “the base”
With “the base” having broken promises made to it by “The Republican Party” and “Conservatives”
The wording is inelegant, but the explicit differentiation of “the base” makes the overall intent clear. At most this feeds into the charge that Trump is too much of a Twitter addict, but nothing more.
Nah, just means he has never heard of the term RINO. which in itself is kind of weird.
