Gov Walker’s Fundraiser Now Culling Cash for Cruz
Breitbart ^ | 2/11/2016 | MICHELLE FIELDS

Republican presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)has picked up a former fundraiser for Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker.

According to CNN, many donors are also now warming up to Cruz:

Keep the Promise, the main umbrella of pro-Cruz groups, is encountering a flurry of eager donors after Cruz's victory in Iowa, sources say -- but since it does no active soliciting, it has not yet turned that newfound interest into cash in the bank account.

And a separate, newer super PAC, Stand for Truth, only just hired a professional fundraiser, Kate Doner, CNN has learned. Doner was the longtime fundraiser for Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, and she has deep connections to many of the major, high-dollar donor networks in Republican politics.

A number of GOP megadonors have indicated a willingness to back Cruz. Las Vegas casino titans Sheldon Adelson and Steve Wynn both gave the maximum they could to the campaign during the last campaign fundraising quarter, yet neither of the magnates has given large checks to the pro-Cruz super PAC effort. And even the billionaire Deason family, which has endorsed Cruz, has not given to a super PAC.

“I guarantee you that some of the same wall street/globalist that donors you all find so evil will also help Trump retire his dept.”

This is mere conjecture at this juncture, and class B conjecture at that. Ping me when it happens.

I would like to see some links, or otherwise some substantive proof of this.

From July:

Donald Trump Loaned His Campaign $1.8 million, Has Spent Most of His Fundraising Haul

From October:

Trump not exactly self-funding his campaign

From February:

Donald Trump loaned his campaign $10.8 million at end of year (because he can)

Do you really think he will not recoup expenses?

Every president has done so.

Every one, unless, on a rare occasion, they had no expenses at all.

The Clinton’s even made it some Bizarre Art form, which was way over the top.

Don’t buy all the Rhetoric.

Donald Trump will have fundraisers and events to recoup his campaign expenses.

It is perfectly legal to do so.

Just watch who donates, folks, that’s all I am saying.

I guess he can ask all Trump supporters to donate, but when he comes up short........

"If Cruz is so unelectable why all the worry, if Trump is so superior and lilly white why all the concern?"

I'd suggest not confusing a low tolerance for BS with worry.

They assume Trump will get paid back from his campaign because THAT is what Cruz does. His campaign bought his books and they sell them to donors for $85 a piece and he claims the $$ as royalties and income.

I wouldn’t care if Trump did pay himself back from the campaign, he’s spent a fraction of what the rest have and MOST candidates get their loans paid back.

Trump has never said that, it’s just another cruzers wild imagination.

Trump won’t even take a salary as president.

So he will spend half a billion, maybe more, to run for President, and not have ANY fundraising efforts to recoup that?

Right...............

He’d be the first.

I am sure he could dp without the 400K a year as president, but if you think he won’t try and recoup his campaign cost, just wait.

LOL....They don’t get that Trump can loan himself all the money he wants, for his campaign....that’s why it’s called self-funding.

The funny thing is when they claim the $$ he’s received from SMALL donations....NOT amnesty affiliated PACs, like CRuz & the other GOPee’s are getting...is proof that he’s not self-funding.

The absurdity of that one never ceases to amaze me.

“I wouldn’t care if Trump did pay himself back from the campaign,”

I don’t care a bit either, Aunt B. The very least of our concerns. Some are CONCERNED about things that don’t matter at all : )

He’s already said he’ll accept funds in the General.

Keep up.

He’s self funding his primary.

Funny that. They’re more concerned about what Trump is doing with his own money....than what the Cheap Labor Express/amnesty operatives are doing with untrusTED and his PACs.

Remember when folks here were fighting tooth and nail to stop amnesty? Now we see folks fighting even harder, to make sure amnesty untrusTED and his COC cronies get elected. Really odd.

“I wouldn’t care if Trump did pay himself back from the campaign, he’s spent a fraction of what the rest have and MOST candidates get their loans paid back.”

A fraction so far, with a long way to go.

Trump may also elect to sell a $20.00 book at 85.00 to recoup the losses.

Let’s just see how it is done.

Let’s see who buys the most books, LOL.

Not saying there is anything wrong with this, just be assured that it will happen.

Question is, who will be running those PAC’s and who will be donating?

we shall see what we shall see.

Meanwhile, go back to bashing Cruz donators, if it makes you fell any better.

I don’t care about the money. Do you care that one of the biggest crooks in the country is funding Cruz?

No? So talk about something that matters!
