Most will wait until that hill is their own front door. That is when it is too late for them.
This country is neither Cuba, nor Venezuela, nor Russia - and, if they value their own, the feds had best remember that.
We have given them no reason to have any concern or fear of We The People. They hate those of us who value what we once were, and they openly hold us in contempt and their agents are there to do whatever they are told for the promise of a paycheck.
Wake me up if ever, this people recognize where this nation finds itself and what must be done to stop tyranny.
Until then, it will be every person for themselves, and preparation for their own survival, if that will even be possible with what we have allowed the Beast to become.
You make all the same points that I have screamed the last 20 years. People will tolerate tyranny until it can no longer be tolerated - IOW, when it brakes down their own front door; an, in your words, by then it is too late.
The problem is called “normalcy bias” ... Its effects will destroy this nation - and us with it.
