We need to put the brakes on until they assimilate. Muslims won't and can't assimilate. We put the brakes on in 1924 with the Immigration Restriction Act. It was in effect until the Immigration and Nationality Act was passed in 1965. That's when the uptick started again.

If we don't build the wall, become a nation again, teach American History, American Pride and Patriotism, stop immigration. . . stop for a while for anyone. . let them assimilate. If they refuse to assimilate, deport them. Become Americans and be proud of it, or leave.
