O'Reilly Responds to Cruz's Complaints About Fox: Why Aren’t You Coming On My Show, Then?
Mediaite ^ | February 11th, 2016 | Josh Feldman

After Ted Cruz came in third in New Hampshire, he got snarky about the glowing coverage Fox News gave Marco Rubio after he placed third in Iowa...

O'Reilly mentioned that he has invited Cruz on multiple times and has never heard back. He said, "I don't really know what else to do. I'll even buy him dinner."

Last month, O'Reilly revealed that Cruz has refused multiple interview requests.

That’s weird. Why is Cruz ducking O’Reilly? Even Trump shows up basically everywhere and with O’Reilly, who usually badgers him the whole time. Is Cruz afraid of that giant leprechaun?

Could Ted be afraid to enter a “no spin zone”? Much as I can’t stand O’Reilly often snotty condescension, he does not let too much crap get by without a challenge.

BOR is a terrible watch. Where Trump’s bluster is hyperbole and admittedly so, BOR doesn’t think he has any bluster, only that he can only ever be right on so many things he’s actually wrong, on.

The complaint is about Fox news coverage, not about editorial shows, Mr. O’Reilly.

Popman: I've read through every comment on the thread. NOT ONE of the Cruz supporters gives a reason why Cruz won't go on O'Reilly's show. And I agree with you that saying no one listens to O'Reilly is just not so.

Everyone else on the thread: Why doesn't Cruz go on O'Reilly's show?

The only reason that I can think of is that O’Reilly is a longtime friend of Trump.

It’s all about you, Bill. The whole world revolves around some ignorant, arrogant, blowhard with a cable TV show.

Faux News seeks appointment with a Canadian faux candidate. Object: Discuss fairytale dream that a Canadian born religious nut wants to be the U.S. President.
Result: Canadian won’t show because he knows O’Reilly would Cruzify him.

Yup. O'Reilly manages to miss the point entirely and present a straw man argument. Inviting Ted Cruz onto his program does not in any way negate the fact that Fox News has been runing as a virtual SuperPAC for Rubio for as far as I can remember.

Steve Doocy mentioned on Fox and Friends (I think yesterday) that they call Cruz almost daily inviting him on the show and either never hear back or they decline. Same with Sanders and Clinton (and I think one other). I know Trump has been on and/or calls in and I’ve seen Bush, Rubio, Fiorina, Carson, Huckabee and others on there or they call in.

Ted Cruz will lick O’Reilly with BOTH hands tied behind his back. It’s not even a contest. O’Reilly is pretty stupid.

O’Reilly had “Boots” on last night, and will have Carson tonight. Where is Cruz?
