Implying that his governing style will be like a officer in the military or like any old tyrant A LEADER.

Which is only governing in the loosest of senses, because it really is LEADERSHIP.

Just ask anyone here who has been in the military.

No. Because he does this *without* being in the military. His employees can quit any time they want. He cannot shoot them or throw them in jail.

They are there because it serves them to be there.

It is a significant difference.

“After eight years of Obama, we need a period of healing.”

Healing in this context is agreeing to what the dems as a group and Obama as a specific instance want. Frankly we have had far too much of that go along to get along stuff. Want an example of what happens when the dems are in charge? Here are two: how many GOPs had any input into the Obamacare bill? Zero. How much input has the GOP had into: I have a phone and I have a pen. Oh, one more: “I Won.”

Splitting hairs in desperation is not a convincing argument.

Should he become POTUS he can “shoot them or throw them in jail.” Which seems to be a point you missed.

Really? I did my time and you?

And if that’s your definition of leadership, G-d help us.

This article is all over the place. Here is another example:

Yes, he sounds like a guy on the street in New York or Jersey, but our freedom of speech is worth it.

The cost of freedom of speech is that we have to put up with New Yorkers? Is that what he is saying? I find the shtick of the average New Yorker quite entertaining. So do most people, which is why they put it on television.

So Trump is a New Yorker and is going to be in your face about saying what the thinks. So what?

What I also found interesting was how much of his staff has been with him for so long. That shows an admirably two-way loyalty IMO that says a lot.

I’m a Celtics fan and just saw a clip of their coach Brad Stevens describing the two characteristics you need for leading people—to be warm and to be demanding.

I took from that documentary that Trump must be both.

Don’t confuse leadership with oppression.

A few sentences later we see the lie in the ‘govern.’ “... run along military lines, by people who could be working in the military ...” Implying that his governing style will be like a officer in the military or like any old tyrant. Which is only governing in the loosest of senses. So in other words, DJT supporters want more of the strongman rule by fear and intimidation which is what a tyrant does. I’m sure many of his supporters, those who aren’t busy writing hate comments to me, would disagree, but have no answer to the question: exactly how would he govern doing something he has never done?

What drivel! I can't believe you wasted the time to post it!

And I cannot believe you wasted time posting your response twice.

As usual with Trumpeters, anything which voices any opinion contrary to their cherished hero worship must be shouted down amid insults and innuendo. Obviously, free speech is not a quality or right Trumpeters believe in, or perhaps just for themselves so they can point to their silly press clippings saved for posterity or the children - whichever comes first ...

With that said, one has to wonder since free speech is not welcomed by Trumpeters, is that a reflection of their hero - a side we have not seen yet, but they are instinctively drawn towards?

Obama now rules by fear and intimidation. That is why the GOP keeps betraying conservatives.

So, Trump and his voters won and broke the rules of the conservative plantation masters by voting for Trump in NH.

It is wonderful to see the long standing corrupt political system disintegrating right before our eyes. A system that hates working Americans, rewards illegals and those who bring them into America to freeload off the American workers.

We are seeing a paradigm shift with us selecting our Presidential Candidate instead of the GOPe and DEMe elites, who hate us, selecting our candidates.

There is a Black Swan event occurring with the daily suicidal self wrought destruction of the GOPe, Open Border Thugs, DC faux pundits, Faux News, ABCNNBCBS and the left wing fish wraps. Something similar may be happening with the DEMes.

Many of us are looking forward to seeing the broken bones, drying blood and entrails of the Lying GOP Open Borders Elite, their DC faux conservative pundits, their mediots, their phoney pollers and focus groups, Faux, ABCNNBCBS, their hired tv and radio hacks strewn across the primary states as much as our victories in those states.

We have escaped from their faux conservative plantations, and we are not going back for more lies, abuse and mistreatment from our former GOPe masters.

Sorry your military service was so unpleasant. Most of us who served viewed it as a very positive experience that we would not undo.

In the business world, Trump presides over a meritocracy, where excellent performance is rewarded.

All the other candidates, with the exception of Dr. Carson and Carly Fiorina, have been mostly immersed in bureaucracy.

This should provide some perspective.

Good for you - you probably were not drafted, nor had to face 4 Russian armies, nor listen to people dying as part of your MOS. And sure as hell you were not a 012.

You actually imagine that business world experience filled with multiple bankruptcies is somehow going to translate into good governance and not tyranny?

I saw all I needed when DJT was on the boob tube. There are no good candidates in my opinion.

In private, Trump looks like a different person, more disciplined and more personable.

TRUE, even in a jam-packed receiving line, right after his speech.

Somehow, he managed to make his conversation with me, one on one, private. Remember, he held my one hand in the two of his while we spoke!
