Trump is campaigning for all Americans, not just conservatives. Like Reagan, he has conservative positions and is trying to unite and create mass appeal with all demographics, not just us conservatives.
There are very few reasoned arguments being made for Trump (and they do exist), there is just a pile of “my guy is great, because my guy is great, and your guy is a pussy”, and hey you are a pussy too!"
Going after Bush was a smart move, he had very little standing support and he epitomized what the majority of GOP primary voters detest.
Going after Cruz is a necessity for the Trump camp, but going after the character of a man who has been one of the few to actually fight the good fight in D.C. is moronic. Even if someone hated Cruz its politically moronic. There are plenty of issues, such as executive experience that would work to Trump's advantage without going scorched Earth.
FRumpsters have become Trump's greatest liability. They seem to think that they can win the primary with 30% of the vote and then win the general by picking up half of the Democrat vote. Its quite possible that the level of animosity has already precluded a general election win.
Trey Gowdy is a joke. He is a total faker. He could have arrested people and seized evidence but he DID NOTHING! Name one thing he accomplished. You can’t because there is NOTHING. He’s part of the good ol boys system now.

I tell you what, I encourage you to keep calling every Cruz, Rubio, Bush, Carson, etc. supporter a pussy, bub, pal, a-hole, or whatever else floats through your head.
Go ahead, pound another nail in your candidates support ceiling. In a couple months you’ll be crying that despite consistently getting the largest plurality of votes, the actually majority of votes went somewhere else. Knock Cruz out, and you’ll ensure Rubio gets them.

Cruz will not win, the primary delegate system is rigged to destroy him. The GOP changes to the delegate allocation were intended to favor Jeb but unintentionally help Trump. So keep calling us Trumpettes and all the other names, its not going to matter.
You and the other Trump haters can stay home and note vote, Trump will STILL win the general. In NH he overwhelmingly won EVERY demographic, he more conservatives boted for him by far than Cruz!
Fair enough, I can think of many reasons to support Trump.
My point is that winning the nomination requires that a candidate eventually get support from other camps. Doing everything humanly possible to insult those other camps is political suicide and Trump is not immune from reality.
I can agree with you on that point, he is pretty brutal on the other candidates. That’s the only thing I wish he would dial back. Some of the candidates have been pretty brutal to him though. He was called a jackass and other things by the other candidates, especially in the beginning.

Trump only responds to attacks on him. From the get-go he warned this would be the case. Cruz attacked first; he responded. He kept his word — unlike others.

Before you come back with the typical retort, my guy is winning save it. This is known and not at all surprising. Typically happen last within a populous movement. Happened during the hopey changey years and not shocked it has sprung its head back up this go around. The chants then were the same, “my guy is winning”
Such golden moments are the stuff of this Trump campaign and it makes me proud to be an American.
