an opinion was given and rejected cause it was wrong.

"No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty five years, and been fourteen Years a resident within the United States."

Yes Cruz is a citizen of the US.

Read the entire sentence. No period after the first 7 words. Get the word "or". Read it. "Or". See the semicolon. ";" is not a "."

Ummm, let me get this straight. You are standing on your mistake? Your two mistakes?

Clearly you have no idea of the consequences of this punctuational folly. Not just for the Presidency, but also for subsequent reinterpretations of the First and Second Amendment, and everything else.

I read the Constitution as it is. Looked at what it said and made the right conclusion from that.

There is no period after NBC. If the Founders intended for NBC to be the sole requirement for eligibility then they would not have written the sentence as they wrote it.

Now that that’s settled you can post threads about Trump’s business failures...oh wait that’s not the drama you want to focus on
