I would agree that Heidi and Ted are acting like she is also running. Just like Bill and Hillary.

Whatever Heidi thinks may really be what Ted thinks. Otherwise she would take a back seat.

“Sarah bailed on a conservative and is supporting a lifelong New York liberal. She had such promise but obviously lost her way.”

Lost her way is not giving her any credit for being an opportunist, convenient conservative and probably a relative of Ann Coulter.

Melania is not inserting herself into the campaign. Heidi has been at it from the start.

My money beggin’ emails tell me so.

“And Ted is uniquely able to deliver on that combination of the law and religion.”

My problem with that, myself, is that I don’t won’t an elected official thinking he can deliver to me or the nation anything regarding “that combination of the law and religion.”

What does that mean? How will he deliver it? Who anointed him to do it? I don’t want someone in the White House who hears voices or thinks he is chosen by Divine appointment, that everything he thinks is divinely inspired.

I really like Cruz. I always have but his and others tactics against Trump go far beyond anything Trump has done. Trump did call Cruz a Canadian, he called him nasty but he hasn’t stooped to just outright lying which Team Cruz seems to see as their only path to victory but of course 90% of the stuff I’ve seen from the anti-Trump crowd is either totally false or represents a very selective cherry picked view which of course is normal when one is totally obsessed with a candidate. I just find it unfortunate that Cruz is allied with people like Glenn Beck who has basically called Trump and his supporters Nazis and went beyond any criticism Trump has ever leveled at anyone’s religion to totally bash Trump’s faith in the most overt way just to scare people.

Trump isn’t the most conservative candidate ever by any means but I find his conversion to Pro Life at least as credible as Romney’s or more so, his position on Trade has been unwavering, he’s never bought into Climate change, he’s married to a wife who has been a Republican ever since she became a citizen, Trump’s father was a big supporter of Goldwater and Reagan and Trump even from a business perspective has given much more money to Republicans than to Democrats and it increased over the last decade. He gave to Reagan’s second campaign, he supported both McCain and Romney. His profile really fits a person who has been dissatisfied with both parties and its very clear he has a disdain for the politics of big money that he himself had to play just to make sure he didn’t suffer punishment which we’ve all seen is a very big threat to businesses which appear too conservative.

Trump is dismissed as a reality tv star but he didn’t earn the bulk of his money on tv or because of tv. He built on his father’s business choosing to work hard and expand into the cut throat Manhattan real estate market. No his did win every time but given the few times he lost his wins far eclipse any failures. Cruz on the other hand has never had a significant achievement outside of government. Yes I like him but he’s still a guy whose best accomplishment is standing and talking to delay a budget vote. He also has connections with Goldman Sachs and ironically was able to win his Senate seat as a tea party hero using a loan from the TARP beneficiary which he didn’t report just as he’s trying to lie again. I’m not saying I don’t trust Cruz where it counts but the tactics he’s been employing are very underhanded.

Club for Growth is not a DC Lobbyist.
Why are they in that list?
They hired lobbyist in 2006 for something, not sure if they were DC based or not?

"Die-hard conservatives thought that if I couldn't get everything I asked for, I should jump off the cliff with the flag flying-go down in flames. No, if I can get 70 or 80 percent of what it is I'm trying to get ... I'll take that and then continue to try to get the rest in the future."
-Ronald Reagan

I guess most Cruz supporters around here would be the first to burn Reagan at the stake for this kind of comment.

I’m not a Trump supporter, but I’ve actually been to Slovenia and the people there are as far from Communist as a meeting of the John Birch Society. That was the part of the Yugoslav mosaic which adapted most quickly to Capitalism and managed to beat back Milosovic’s reformed Communist jackboots, the quasi-Fascist Croats, and Bosnian Muslims to remain independent. They all wanted Slovenia.

Again, are you trying to compare President Reagan with the New York liberal trump? This place has really jumped the shark.
