i always wonder why IL was blue. Seems like it should be red
Illinois is "red", except for that collection of cancer cells up top! The dark dark blue is of course Chicago and without it the state would be purple to "red".
Not unlike Virginia, just mirrored horizontally a bit.
It is cities versus suburbs nowadays.
