Talk about a punch in the gut. The arrogant guy making the announcement had the nerve to tell these folks to quiet down and hear what else he had to say....after he’d just told them their jobs were moving to Mexico.

No, actually there is a thriving heroin trade all across Upstate Gnu Yak...the manufacturing ops for Carrier moved years ago.
This factory is in Indiana. Carrier all but abandoned the Syracuse area, even demolishing buildings, over a period of years after the United Technologies acquisition. The biggest thing left is the name on the sports arena.
I didn’t know there was anyone working for Carrier in Syracuse any longer....IIRC those jobs went to Memphis in the early 2000’s.
They already left Syracuse. We’re dead and buried.
