The Senate can, and should refuse to hold hearings on any nominee the President sends over. If they hold committee hearings, they can refuse to hold a vote to move the nomination to the floor.
Ted Cruz should address this tonight, and it can be a point of focus in the election. Not just this seat, but so many more could come open in the span of the next Presidential term... It would be horrific to have Hillary Clinton selecting nominees. The problem is that, in a scenario in which she could win, it is likely that the Senate would tip as well.
This makes the gravity of the campaign, both for the nomination and the general, very real.

Republicans could delay it till next year, but the lure of getting an Amnesty loving Judge in will be to much for the Grubby Money loving Traitors.

Rubio, Cruz, Sessions, Lee and Paul will have NO CHOICE but to get back to D.C. and hold the line on this.
This is when these people earn their pay. Because losing on this is not an option.

Cruz pushed for two other much more conservative judges, but reluctantly supported Bush’s selection. Cruz has said on a number of occasions that it was a mistake to do so.

If the shoe were on the other foot, it would be dead certain that the Rats would delay it until next year. There are too many spineless Republicans for me to be confident they’ll delay that long.
The establishment can’t stop Trump, they’re catching onto that. They’re losing their grasp on absolute power and all bets are off.
They will gladly cooperate with Obama to get a lib in there, take our guns, and finally shut us the hell up. Just watch.
