The problem is he’s wearing two hats right now ... he’s a U.S. Senator, but he’s also a presidential candidate. He’s likely to do and say things as a presidential contender that he probably wouldn’t have done or said if he was just a senator.
A genuine opposition party would do just that.
Block any nomination and let the next President choose Saclia’s replacement.
We don’t have one of those.
We have McCain, Graham, McConnell, Hatch, Cornyn, Collins, Kirk, Flake, Burr, Portman, Coats, Ayotte, etc.
Liberals despised Scalia.

Never happen. I’m sure Mitch McConnell has already told Obama that he will now give him whatever and whoever he wants as a replacement for Scalia. The more Progressive and kookier, the better. Maybe Obama will choose Sheila Jackson Lee.

I think it will be unanimous from all the Republican presidential candidates in the debate tonight if it is brought up. To delay the Supreme Court nomination until next year.
