The fact that the majority of the audience went completely silent when Trump stated we need to take care of our own tells you all you need to know about its make up.

I understand. Trump is wrong on that.
However, Bush did increase our national debt to enormous heights - through TARP and other means. It was all in an effort to artificially increase the debt-based money supply since the international banks were destroying that same supply on purpose. Exactly as is happening now.
Remember when so many people thought that oil would be hundreds of dollars per barrel and we would have major - if not hyper - inflation? Deflation is what the bankers have had in store for a long time. It's not by accident.
The Cruzbots are out in force. There isn’t a whole lot of love out there for W, and Iraq has turned out to be a disaster. This isn’t going to do much to slow down Trump.
CBS and the GOPe are pimping for Rubio. They don’t want Cruz or Trump.
I don’t see it as “blaming” George W. Bush for 9/11.
But simply saying that “George W. Bush kept us safe”,
completely ignores the timeline of 9/11.
If you want to say “George W. Bush kept us safe AFTER 9/11”,
then many more would agree.
The audience sounds like obnoxious parents cheering at a high school graduation.

The 1993 WTC bombing should have been a wakeup call but it was ignored. Donald Trump predicted the 2001 WTC Bombing and called out Osama Bin Laden as the terrorist to watch out for.
That’s not ‘nuts’, that’s patriotic but the leaders in the government of the US decided to look the other way and continue business as usual. If you think Trump is nuts and the people that failed to act are hunky-dory, then I’d say you’re the one that’s nuts.
Bush got us Clinton. Perot just got a lot of people to vote who wouldn’t have voted anyway.
A non-specific threat is not actionable. One of Bush’s biggest problems, IMHO, is that he kept on a lot of Clinton’s people, including in the CIA and other security services. They were lax and very much into protecting Muslims, for some reason, and I doubt that they were any help in judging the immediacy of the threat (which they appeared to know nothing about anyway).
But that was W’s whole problem. He was too nice to the Dems, and they just walked all over him, and probably even betrayed their country just to get back at him. And he never fought back or challenged them.

George Bush NEVER defended his WMD claim. He let democrats murder his administration on the issue. It probably is the major reason we have Barack Obama.
George Bush made his bed. Let him lie in it.
