I would hope that if we had a president we liked right now that he would be prepared to nominate someone after a decent interval. If we were only a month away from an election, that might be too short time-wise, but we’re talking a little over 8 months at this point. It’s unrealistic to expect any president to not at least try to fill such an important position as soon as possible.

So many still don’t see Cruz for who he is. At one time, he was my guy. I used to tell people how great he is but no more. He lies, cheats, whatever it take to win. Tonight he’s all in on painting Trump a guy who will pick a liberal judge. Couldn’t be more wrong. Trump would make sure the 2nd Amendment is safe among other things. I think he would take the responsibility very seriously and pick the best for his future, his kid’s future, and grandkids.
