The Scriptures don’t require 10% giving from Christians. I suggest folks read the Apostle Paul’s words about the standard of New Testament giving; people who are hitting Cruz on this issue are simply ignorant of Scripture.
10%? The Cruz Family made millions and gave basically nothing to charity. That doesn’t seem very pious to me.
My point wasn’t about his piety so much as to correct the legalistic requirement of 10%. That said, many Christians donate anonymously; how can you be sure that Cruz hasn’t done exactly that?
