trump lost me tonight. blaming W for the fall of the towers tells me all i need to know. I’ve been happy to watch and wait, favoring him over Cruz who I think is likely the actual conservative between them because I thought him more likely to win in the general. Of course, whomever is nominated I will vote for. Scalia’s death today should be all that needs saying as to why. However, Trump really brought to light the truth of those who see him as a petulant bully, who was pretty tone deaf to the vets who loved W when he attacked him for the towers.

I’ve heard Trump before on this and he in effect blames W Bush for not being vigilant in keeping the terrorists from infiltrating the country at 911. They were here “illegally” and went past security at airports, etc. He mentioned the CIA just now, and spoke about that earlier too...not enough communicating with the CIA. Trump has said the families of the terrorists that flew into the buildings knew it was going to happen, why didn’t the Bush administration? I hope that explains some of Trump’s HEATED discussion. (too heated I think too)
The 1993 World Trade Center bombing, the prediction by Trump in 2000 and his calling out Osama Bin Laden, and several other factors such as failing to prosecute democrats for dereliction, were all laid at the feet of GW Bush because he had the power to clamp down on movements in his first year.
But we had such sympathy for all the victims, we weren’t about to criticize Bush at the time, but now 15 years since with hindsight we see how Bush himself was governing by political correctness.

When a Captain of a vessel is onboard when the vessel rams against an object, he is responsible, no matter if it was an error by the crew. Because the crew is an extension of the Captain, like eyes and ears, so a Captain cannot escape responsibility by blaming others. It doesn’t work that way.
In Trump’s first year of office, watch for massive changes to interior security, a clamp down like Americans have never seen, because we want to avert another 9-11 which Trump says is coming and is going to be much worsde.
