No President in 80 years has made a SCOTUS appointment during a Presidential Election year; not that I trust Obama not to, but he’d sure be breaking a longstanding tradition of respect for the Office of President if he had the holy flaming gall to go on and do it anyway.

Why do a recess appointment when Hatch, McCain, Graham, McConnell, Murkowski, Collins, Corker, and Alexander will vote for almost any he nominates? The Republican Senate will approve his choice, particularly if he appoints a minority or female. He wants the conservative base of the GOP to feel the knife in their back when the Supreme Court turns Marxist forever. The victory will be much sweeter for Obama when the Republican Senate votes to kill the Republic.
He should just shut up. He is not fit to wipe spit off Scalia’s shoes. Any word out of his mouth profanes a great man.
I’m sure Obama was elated to hear of the justices passing. Make no mistake, the left now has the opportunity to check mate this republic. I have no doubt he’ll use the chance.
It is amazing having a president that hates his own country. He’s very predictable. If a decision causes harm to our society, he takes that decision.
