Cibolo Creek Ranch owner recalls Scalia’s last hours in Texas(Pillow over his head)
Houston Chronicle ^ | February 14 | John MacCormack

Posted on 02/14/2016 1:37:21 PM PST by PghBaldy

"We discovered the judge in bed, a pillow over his head. His bed clothes were unwrinkled," said Poindexter.

"He was lying very restfully. It looked like he had not quite awakened from a nap," he said. Scalia,79, did not have a pulse and his body was cold, and after consulting with a doctor at a hospital in Alpine, Poindexter concluded resuscitation would have been futile, He then contacted federal authorities, at first encountering a series of answering services because he was calling on a weekend.

Marshalls not protecting Scalia, they were not even at the ranch.

Why?

From link...

Scalia, who was scheduled to return to Washington on Sunday, had little time to avail himself of the ranch’s offerings. Poindexter said he had only met Scalia once before briefly, in Washington. Scalia came to the ranch because he was friends another guest.
Poindexter said he knew the other guests.

“All the guests were friends of mine, I paid for all of them. There were no politics, no jurisprudence in the slightest,” he said.

“This was strictly a group of friends that the judge decided to join. He was coming with his son who had to drop out for reasons I don’t’ know.

Yeah something tells me this is a misprint, Ive never heard of anyone sleeping with a pillow over their face, I sleep with 3 pillows, its what I got used to, everyone sleeps differently but a pillow over your face, how the heck do you breathe? And if someone killed him I think they would have been smart enough to put the pillow underneath his head after wards

I need a Doctor or a Nurse to tell me if this whole thing sounds right for someone who has a heart attack while sleeping. Would the covers really be unrumpled and a pillow stay on his head. Maybe he smothered to death. This is idiotic.

It seems to be the body would move while having a heart attack.

It's not like Obama and his leftist minions are so evil that they would commit murder just for power, is it?

Since there is no autopsy, I guess no one checked for needle marks.

Also, when people sleep with pillows over their head, it seems always to be when they are on their sides. Not face up with their hands folded a la funeral home position.

Was the photo of Poindexter and 0bama taken some time ago? How long ago and why did they meet? Yeah, I am suspicious, why shouldn’t I be? Perhaps 0bay took some tips from Putin?

The son had to drop out? Did he leave the ranch?

Why no autopsy? The man was in good health, but dies in his sleep with no cause reported thus far.

How convenient that the most conservative judge is dead just before fairy boy leaves office.

Me?

TOTALLY impossible for me even to get drowsy unless I have burly, unknown PMC’s skulking around my lot.

Oh..!

And Godzilla dental floss looped around my neck.

With midgets kicking and dangling, suspended, from the handles, on either sides of me.

For me this is like a lullaby.

Sometimes I knock down a bottle of sleeping pills with a 5th of Stoli.

Could it be this is a misquote and meant to say his head was resting on a pillow. How odd it is to be lying in a restful state but with a pillow over your head? Obviously, a pillow over ones head is not either comfortable or a safe way to sleep.

My Mom’s aunt(Her husband) was in his 80s, this was many years ago, he had previous heart attacks in the past, but one day he went to go take a nap and a few minutes later heard a large crash, his body fell off the bed, he was dead, had a massive heart attack. Not sure if that this occurs in all cases I guess it depends where the person was on the bed to begin with(Edge of the bed, etc) but if a person is on the edge of the bed and has a heart attack I think the body would fall off the bed

Or perhaps Mr. Poindexter meant a pillow above his head...not covering his head.

Maybe he meant that. But why would he mention the pillow at all? And he didn’t say how he got into the room, which was locked earlier in the morning. It’s just a very odd explanation all the way around.

And to have his hands folded on his chest like he was laid out in a casket.

I find this so hard to believe but I have never been around someone who has actually had a heart attack..just what I see in movies. It just seems that a massive heart attack is going to cause the body to move.

I can accept a pillow over his head. I used to sleep face down with a pillow on my head.

What I don’t get is everyone I’ve ever known who had a fatal heart attack either clutched their chest or sat up in bed. The didn’t just lie there with their hands crossed on their chest.

I also question why someone felt it important to note that his clothes weren’t wrinkled. Are they trying to convince us that there was no tussel?

The whole thing sounds like one of the movie plots where the guy croaks having sex and they have to dummy up the scene of death for his reputation. NOT IMPLYING SCALIA WOULD DO SUCH A THING. I just mean the whole thing is hinky.

If it’s gotten light out, and I want to sleep a bit longer, I will put a pillow over my face to block out the morning light.

Um.... Aluminum foil, people.

This guy is a Bushbot involved in Iran Contra - you know, where not only Iranian arms but CIA cocaine runs into USA made $$ for the contras.

Below from Wikipedia:

John Marlan Poindexter (born August 12, 1936) is a retired United States naval officer and Department of Defense official. He was Deputy National Security Advisor and National Security Advisor for the Reagan administration. He was convicted in April 1990 of multiple felonies as a result of his actions in the Iran–Contra affair, but his convictions were reversed on appeal in 1991. More recently, he served a brief stint as the director of the DARPA Information Awareness Office for the George W. Bush administration. He is the father of NASA astronaut and U.S. Navy Captain Alan G. Poindexter.
