Thanks to the Marine for standing in the cold with you. Jeans don’t give much protection, though it looks like he had a warm Carhartt camo jacket there, so maybe it wasn’t too awful for him. A nice gesture for him to join you. May God bless and protect him and all of you.
We have had other active duty military stand with us. Always a great experience. One Navy serviceman from Norfolk even presented us with a Navy flag that we still flag.
We have had several WWII vets stand with us. One is a good friend who was on Iwo Jima.
