Trump: RNC breaking pledge, calls Cruz a ‘liar’
The State ^ | February 15, 2016 | Andrew Shain

Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump said Monday that the Republican party is breaking its pledge to stay neutral while pouncing on GOP rivals who attacked him at a weekend debate.

“I have never met people like politician. They are the most dishonest people I have ever met,” the New York billionaire said during a stop at Mount Pleasant hotel on Monday. “They lie, lie, lie and then they apologize.".....

Trump suggested that the Republican National Committee was not honoring a pledge to not hurt his campaign if the businessman promised not to mount a third-party presidential run.

Trump was booed several times during the Republican presidential debate Saturday in Greenville for criticizing other candidates. Trump said the debate audience was stacked with lobbyists and big Republican donors.

“I signed a pledge,” Trump said. “But the pledge is not being honored by them. ... They are in default of their pledge.”

Trump, the winner of the New Hampshire primary last week, spent most of his speech to several hundred spectators going after U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, his closest rival in South Carolina.

He blasted Cruz for distorting his stance on the Second Amendment during the debate. Cruz has said Trump would erode gun ownership laws if elected, while Trump calls himself the biggest gun rights advocate in the race.

“I think he’s an unstable person,” Trump said of Cruz.

Trump called Cruz a “bad liar” who stole the Iowa caucus when the senator’s volunteers spread rumors about GOP candidate Ben Carson leaving the race. Cruz won while Trump finished second.

In psychological terms what Trump is doing is classical projection...stupid people don’t see it.

Cruz’s conduct on this campaign may end up costing him his Senate seat, as the opposition research is being published every time Jeff Roe pulls one of his dirty tricks.

Well, Cruz has been saying that if Trump is elected that would be the end of 2nd amendment rights. Cruz says Trump would nominate SC judges that would overturn 2nd amendment rights.

That has really set Trump off and who can blame him. Cruz is showing himself more and more to be a smart-assed, pompous jerk. And he is lying, making assumptions and statements about Trump he could not possibly know to be true. That can be said about most assertions he’s made about Trump recently. Ted’s just throwing as much mud against the wall as he can, hoping some of it will stick.

The longer this split between the two runs, the sleazier Cruz and his Psyops Unit and his push pollers and his data miners become.

Trump has a habit of exaggerating, overstating, hyperbole, and just plain drama. It’s really the worst case of it I have ever witnessed in an adult, much less a successful one.

Hopefully he will learn that words have meaning and there are times you can “make your point” without outlandish statements. I realize he is “not a politician”, but you would think he would know better or learn while he is on the campaign trail. I suppose we should just get used to it because it is obvious he won’t change and he is likely the nominee.

Anyone but Hillary!

Lol, I am not taking Trump or Cruz’s side in this little tryst. I am actually just using to blast Hillary. I mean, we all remember her landing in Bosnia under intense sniper fire, right?

So, that’s all you’ve got? Birther nonsense?

Won’t you regale us with how “Bush lied!!!” or some of the other leftard nonsense that vomited out of your idol’s blowhole the other night? That getting a little embarrassing to try and tote?

Pathetic.

So Cruz is supposedly the biggest liar he's met, but Trump has nothing to say about his friends Hillary and Bill.

Tells you everything you need to know about Trump.

Sadly enough, Trump is wrong about this: Rubio is a bigger liar than Ted, and Hillary is a bigger liar than Rubio.

Trump has been a liar his entire life. He calls it “Truthful hyperbole”. Look it up.

“The Donald is just telling the public who he considers his most formidable opponent.”

Not just his but Hillary’s.

Hillary is seen as dishonest so Trump claims Cruz is dishonest.

Because of all her speech money Hillary is seen as being beholding to the banks so Trump makes claim Cruz is controlled by the banks.

Almost all of the negatives Trump is throwing at Cruz are Hillary negatives.

Clintons always use projection to attack their opponents, claiming their opponent is guilty of what they do.

Bill and Hillary haven’t lied on Trump like Cruz has.

Cruz made a serious mistake. It’s not that he attacked Trump. It’s that he flat out lied in the attack.

Had Cruz attacked Trump on Trump’s platform, they could have had a friendly joust and Cruz could be in the running for VP. But Cruz lied about Trump’s positions and that is why Trump is calling him out as a liar.
