Rush was one thing for 28 years.
He was a totally different thing starting June of 2015 through last week.
He has now changed again....back peddling back tracking.....

This is in my wheel house. I’ve studied this a long time.

I listen most every lunch hour, and have had the good fortune to be able to do so since the early nineties. I've got a fairly good acquaintance with what he says, and his patterns.

I think you're underestimating Trump's ability to form the narrative and be in the news. It really is one of several reasons to prefer him as a candidate for the nomination.

Yes, Rush loved what Trump was doing, but only because he had been waiting for someone, anyone, to challenge the media narrative, and figure out how to beat them. Trump did it, did it in spades, beating the media at its own game. No one else has done that since Reagan. Rush gleefully reported it daily, but I don't think it was because Trump was his favorite as much as he was trying to wake up the GOPe to its betrayal and stupid timidity. Trump was making the news, and he was gleefully reporting.

He also said yesterday, after agreeing that Cruz was the best thing since sliced bread, that if he was going to take some one out, that was reserved for Hillary or whoever the DNCe/media complex tries to fool us with again. He would not take part in trying to take out anyone who could be the next opponent of the leftist cabal.

A good policy for the most part.
