Draft-Dodger Trump Said Sleeping Around Was My ‘Personal Vietnam’
The Daily Beast ^ | February 16, 2016 | Tim Mak

Draft-dodger Donald Trump once said that the danger he faced from getting sexually transmitted diseases was his own “personal Vietnam.” In a 1997 interview with shock jock Howard Stern, Trump talked about how he had been “lucky” not to have contracted diseases when he was sleeping around. “I’ve been so lucky in terms of that whole world. It is a dangerous world out there. It’s scary, like Vietnam. Sort of like the Vietnam-era,” Trump said in a video that resurfaced Tuesday on Buzzfeed, “It is my personal Vietnam. I feel like a great and very brave soldier.”

I had some friends that I went to high school with that were drafted and were afraid of being drafted and I thought it was an awful way for them to to have to live, with that fear. I hope we can always just maintain a volunteer forces.

Thank you for your service.

>>More likely it is Belshazzar of Chapter 5 Daniel.

Or Babylon and/or the system(s) of worldly government dejoure in general.

==============

LUCIFER

= light bringer, "the morning star": Isa 14:12 (
heylel
, "spreading brightness"). Symbol of the once bright but now fallen king of Babylon. The title belongs of right to Christ (Rev 22:16), therefore about to be assumed by antichrist, of whom Babylon is type and mystical Babylon the forerunner (Rev 17:4-5). The language is primarily drawn from that of Satan himself, the spirit that energized the pagan world power Babylon, that now energizes the apostate church, and shall at last energize the last secular antichrist (the fourth kingdom little horn) and his champion, the false prophet (the third kingdom little horn), the harlot's successor, who shall oppress Israel, as the fourth kingdom little horn oppresses the Gentile world: Dan 7:8-26 (Chaldee); 8:9-11 (Hebrew); Rev 13:4; 16:13-14; 2 Thess 2:9. "Lucifer" is thus naturally applied to Satan (Luke 10:18; Rev 12:8-9; Jude 6). Jesus saith, "I will give him that overcometh the morning star," i.e. Myself (Rev 2:28; 22:16); reflecting My brightness, he shall shine like Me "the morning star," sharing My kingly glory of which a star is the symbol (Num 24:17; Matt 2:2).

I’m still puzzled after ALL these YEARS WHY we are yet to see ANYTHING of Obunga’s, EXCEPT for a Photoshopped BC.

I look at Trumps children and see well adjusted, successful individuals.

They certainly turned out better than Jeb's kids, or in fact the majority of children of the wealthy, powerful, and well-connected, who typically grow up without boundaries and think that they can get away with anything (and often do).

I believe the Ds were hoping to keep the Howard Stern stuff under wraps until (if) needed during the general.

>>yes, yes..... that is theory

No. No. That is how Jesus TOLD HIS DISCIPLES TO BEHAVE.

Matt 6:12
12 Forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.

NIV

Forgiveness of sin, in the repentant body of Christ, is a very different thing from the PERMISSION to sin coveted by the community represented last week at the Super Bowl -- where an icon of the homosexual community sang the National Anthem and the Rainbow Homosexual "Community" hoisted and shoved their flag into the face of the world

At least with Trump, all of his skeletons are out there

Trump's vices seem pretty minor: he likes the ladies and a good time, and he used deferments to avoid serving in Vietnam (so did GOP establishment icon Dick Cheney, yet the people attacking Trump for this still think Cheney is some sort of hero with "gravitas").

It's the candidates who talk a lot about their moral purity who scare me. The moralizing and "righteous" high and mighty usually turn out to be the biggest crooks, hypocrites, perverts, and degenerates of the lot.

It’s hard to dodge the draft when your draft # was as high as Trump’s. You do realize that don’t you?

>>They funded PP, they funded BarackCare, they funded 300,000 Syrian invaders, ect.

Have you seen this:

[The Trump Tapes: Vol. 1]

?

Trump is pandering to the audience to "make the sale".

During A Recent GOP Debate, Trump Praised A Single-Payer, Socialized Medicine System, Saying It Works In Canada And Scotland.

When Fox News anchor Bret Baier asked Trump to defend his position during the first GOP Presidential Debate in Cleveland:

Donald Trump: “As far as single payer, it works in Canada, it works incredibly well in Scotland.” (Avik Roy, Op-Ed, “No, Donald Trump, Single-Payer Health Care Doesn’t ‘Work Incredibly Well’ In Canada & Scotland,” Forbes, 8/7/15)

Trump Has Been Calling for Universal Health Insurance For a Long Time

Donald Trump: “I would press for universal healthcare. … I would put forward a comprehensive health care program and fund it with an increase in corporate taxes.” (Paul Alexander, “Trump Towers,” The Advocate, 2/15/00)

He even wrote about it in his own book, saying "We must have universal healthcare."

You’re welcome. I believe I know how your friends felt. Having the threat of the draft hanging over me(and worrying about getting my high school diploma at the same time),it was contributing to my poor part time job performance. Eventually I was fired. I got Uncle Sam’s greetings a few months later.

I felt I had a patriotic duty to serve and did my time before the Vietnam war got underway beyond a true handful of advisors. The Democratic legislature dumped the Vietnamese to to cost of one to two million lives beyond those who died in the war earlier. Then there was Cambodia logging in at two million plus. Most Americans of Vietnamese heritage are here as refugee families.

It was a bad time in our history culminating in the Carter presidency which is still damaging us both through the progressive politics carried over to today and the evil that is Iran. Finally Reagan used the correct and firm approach to world communism that culminated in the fall of the Soviets and their “fellow travelers”. Now communism is back in force and is a major threat reflected in the autocratic presidential candidates and the idea that things have gone too far for politics to correct and the US needs a benevolent dictator to bypass an ineffective legislature.

Yes I have. I get it. What he’s saying now is different. I get that too.

Trump is not ideological like us folks here. Frankly, most people aren’t.

If he doesn’t deliver, how is that different than what we have now, with both houses of congress under Republican ‘control’.
