It has nothing to do with persuasion
Persuading people to vote your way is the definition of electoral politics.
Persuasion is the sine qua non of American campaigns.
But good luck with your "approach," which consists of smearing those who don't support your guy as fascists.
Of course, tRumps “approach” is much better. Call everybody liars, while lying yourself, and accuse George W. Bush of lying about weapons of mass destruction.
That sure makes me want to vote for him. He’s so “special”.
