Interesting the AH-1 is still in production, or did I mis understand? It was a welcome sight in Vietnam. I’ve had rides in the front seat of an AH-1G many, many times.

The Aussies should consider also procuring the Zulu’s twin sister, the UH-1Y, with something like 80 percent common parts/systems. Much improved logistics train with more mission coverage.

That’s not your fathers H1 (Cobra or Huey). I Was a Marine Skid Kid back in the day. It now referred to as Mobile Air Artillery. Semper Fi.
