It’s interesting to me that, several years ago, when I posted comments critical of G. W. Bush here on FB, few people agreed and many deluged me with posts defending him. I had been one of his biggest supporters—even nominated him for Mt. Rushmore—but became disenchanted with him when I realized that he had no intention of closing the Mexican Border or halting illegal immigration. From there I became even more disenchanted.

I became very disenchanted with W on election night 2006, when he congratulated Nancy pelosi and the democrats for winning the congress and he said that now he might finally have a congress willing to work with him on Comprehensive Immigration Control. I was angry with him already for the religion of peace b.s., No Child Left Behind, the expansion of medicare, and his absolute refusal to fight for anything he supposedly believed in such as Entitlement Reform. Those remarks were the last straw.

Well...the truth always becomes clearer with the benefit of hindsight. I fully supported the War in Iraq. I now believe that I was completely wrong in doing so.
