Ethanol, one of the key issues in South Carolina. THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING! I’m switching my vote to Cruz too now. ETHANOL!!!
It’s about getting rid of subsidies and crony capitalism - end picking winners and losers.
Ethanol is the poster boy for what is wrong in Washington. I was proud of Ted when he did that.
Yup, I am changing too. Now the question, do I wish to go to the guy who was bamboozled by McConnell on the trade vote....er probably not because anyone that stupid should not be president either. OK, how about the guy with the cowboy boots, er, anyone who needs boots to get through all the BS they put out about the gang of 8, no. Oh, how about the guy who has to resort to calling his mom and infamous brother to shore him up...no. How about the guy who cries about every liberal cause in the world, definitely no. I got it, how about the MD, is he still in the race? They each have some warts so I will go with the guy who has said most of the things I agree with.
Are you capable of comprehension?
Who fought against ethanol subsidies in Iowa and won?
Ethanol showed more than anything else that Cruz is willing to risk his own political survival for what is RIGHT. Crony capitalism is a term I don’t like...this is corporate welfare, another form of socialism and government “spreading the wealth around.” Stopping this stuff is a top priority of any conservative.
Trump caved on this issue as he will on any tough issue related to socialist redistribution. Like Mitt Romneycare, Trump is a big government socialist at heart. He just wants to “run” the socialism “better” than the Dummycraps. But socialism is inherently inefficient no matter who runs it.
Flippant answer on an important question. I heard Ted Cruz on CNN speak on energy. He thinks we should pursue all energy options available to us including nuclear and including ethanol.
However, he thinks it should be a fair industry. No subsides from the government. NO picking favorites.
It’s not just ethanol. It’s standing by your principles.
Ted Cruz did, even though he knew the Iowa victory might be on the line.
Trump did not.
No, it’s not about ethanol, but about WHO TOOK ON THE ESTABLISHMENT IN IOWA? Hint: it wasn’t Trump.
