All of them are showing Trump at 33%, but going back and forth on whether Rubio or Cruz is second at around 22ish% ...

Has anyone heard when Trump is going to call Ted and wish him congratulations on his hard fought victory?

More likely quite a few democrats are voting for Cruz if they vote at all since the SC democrat machine believes Cruz would be the easiest guy to beat in the general election.

Or, so say my friends and relatives in SC who have been involved in election campaigns for several decades and keep a close watch on what the democrat machine there tells the faithful.

YMMV, etc.

South Carolina Exit Poll Results: Most Say Haley Endorsement Not Important

South Carolina’s popular governor, Nikki Haley, added a twist in the final days of the race when she bestowed her coveted endorsement on Marco Rubio. However, just 6 percent of primary voters said Haley’s endorsement was the most important factor in their vote, while another 20 percent described it as one of several important factors. The majority of voters said it was only a minor factor (21 percent) or not a factor at all (51 percent).

South Carolina Exit Poll Results: How Trump Won

Donald Trump performed best among Republican voters who were looking for a candidate who “tells it like it is,” receiving 77 percent of their support, according to the NBC News Exit Poll. He also did extremely well among those who want the next president to come from outside the political establishment, getting 60 percent of this group’s vote.

I thought Trump dropped out after winning by only 10 points.

Couldn’t handle the late Cruz surge.
