I have to figure out my camera and will try to do it again..was at my mom's in the grass..windy and did not get real high..no broken blades..weird in controlling it sometimes it goes up and other times it goes forward and up????

Well yes, it IS difficult to control. Took me a year to get the balance.

Use VERY tiny movements of the sticks. Assuming it’s mode two, most are, the right stick controls the motor speed. That is up/down and how fast you go. It also controls yaw which is spin. That is not turning but it does factor in a bit when you get the hang of the right stick.

The left stick controls forward/backward and left/right.

The first thing to do is get the quad to hover. Just use the left stick to go up to maybe 3-6 feet and keep it there.

You may have to trim the quad. that will be in your instructions, probably in Chinglish, LOL!

Once you can hover inmore or less one spot move the right stick forward, VERY SMALL STICK MOVEMENT. Go forward a few feet then back.

When you can do that reliably then start moving the right stick left and right so the quad moves a few feet. Then try making a square or rectangle in the air.
