I still maintain that it is an outright lie that H-1Bs are getting lower pay. Iâm in IT and I just donât see it.
You're dead on, but no one here will listen. The bottom line is, there are not enough American kids in college in STEM programs. Been doing this for 20 years in IT, and there simply aren't enough American's getting the right degrees.

That is why the H-1B needs to go. Wages will rise and it will attract STEM majors.

Just not true. Most US universities now impose high GPA requirements to keep kids out of their STEM programs to alleviate overcrowding.
Over 1/3 of new US bachelor's degrees are in STEM fields. The problem is a lack of entry-level opportunities and willingness to train recent grads.
