Pope Francis chose the U.S.-Mexican border for his angriest attack yet on the free market, comparing private employers to slave owners. Pope St. John Paul II, who lived under statism, knew better.
Speaking to Mexican businessmen and union officials on his final day after nearly a week in Mexico, in the heavily industrialized Ciudad Juarez across the Texas border from El Paso, the Catholic Church's Supreme Pontiff declared, "God will hold the slave drivers of our days accountable." He added that "the flow of capital cannot decide the flow of people," and blasted a "prevailing mentality" in favor of "the greatest possible profits, immediately and at any cost." He later celebrated Mass practically on the border.
The message couldn't be clearer: The people of God are south of that line, and their oppressors are north of it.
This most casual of Popes has a now-infamous penchant for ill-considered, off-the-cuff remarks that the Vatican's damage control operation routinely has to walk back or explain away. But in this case the sentiments were too well-planned and orchestrated for excuses to work. Francis is an enemy of economic freedom and many of the policies that have made America and the rest of the Western industrialized world great.
One might be tempted to charge that he is bringing the Catholic Church's moral teaching back to the "dark ages" of many hundreds of years ago, before man liberated himself economically and conquered so much poverty via technological progress.
In fact, even in the Middle Ages the Catholic Church strongly defended the principle of private property

Every time I go to Church and hear the words “social justice” I know those are code words for more socialism.

FRANCIS, THE MARXIST LIBERATION POPE
According to Cardinal Gerhard Ludwig Muller, Prefect for the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, Pope Francis has close ties with liberation theology, the same Discaterio that once condemned the movement. Most importantly, the Pope has backed his words with actions. During his visit to Brazil in 2013, the Pope held meetings with Liberation Theologians on preparing a new doctrine for the church.
We have to delve deeper in the past of Pope Bergoglio to understand his repudiation of free enterprise and admiration for socialism.

That was quite a preposterous example of the Catholic social doctrine made by Bergoglio. Cuba enjoyed the highest standard of living in Latin America and a numerous and prosperous middle class before the revolution, has suffered under Communism a brutal oppression for over 56 years and its standard of living has fallen to the level of misery of Haiti.
Don’t be surprised by Francis veneration for the monster of la Cabaña, one of the idols of the liberationists, the Argentinean Ernesto Che Guevara. Pope Francis, before going to the Middle East, called himself the Che Guevara of the Palestine people, a flabbergasting affirmation to identify with and to use El Che as model and inspiration, a mass murderer of Cubans, and of Blacks during imperialist wars in Africa at the service of the Soviet Union. While Muslims keep mass murdering Christians, Francis allied himself with the terrorists of the PLO and Hamas recognizing a nonexistent Palestine State.
Thousands of Cubans murdered by the Communist tyranny while imprisoned and tortured hundreds of thousands of patriots, more than 25,000 Cubans were drowned on the Florida Straits trying to escape from the Communist paradise in makeshift drafts, over one million Cubans forced into Exile in their quest of freedom, didn’t diminish Pope Francis’ admiration for the Cuban Stalinist regime, so much so, that he concocted with comrade Obama a plan to keep afloat the regime prolonging the oppression of the Cuban people while forcing the American taxpayers to play the role of “sugar daddy†of the regime, a role played before by the Soviet Union and later Venezuela that ended with their ruin.
Recently, Francis, a sycophant of the Cuban communist tyrants, said Cuba has become the world city of unity after his meeting in Havana with Kyril, the head of the Russian Orthodox church and a puppet of Putin. That preposterous assertion by the Pope try to cover up that over 2 million Cubans were forced into exile by the brutal Stalinist regime of the Castro brothers.
History repeats itself. As H.H Pope Paul VI said on June 29, 1972, it seems that “ From a fissure the smoke of Satan has entered the Temple of God â€.

The Pope is railing against the teaching of the Catholic Church: Thou shalt not steal. The “free market” is simply what happens when that commandment is obeyed.
Funny that the Catholic Church continues to accept donations even though the pope hates filthy old lucre.
