In name only. He is a Jesuit which is the far left wing of the church. Most Catholics are wary of the Jesuits. Not all Jesuits are bad but the Latin American crop are mostly communists. The order has gotten more radical over the years.
In answer to that I would put it this way; the Pope's first love would appear to be a collectivist system of government which I can only term evil.
A Pope should first among all things love God. If you love God you love his Church. The Pope must love his Church.
Psalm 97:10 Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: He preserves the lives of his saints; he delivers them from the hand of the wicked.
If you love evil you can not love God. If Benedict does not love the Church he is not Catholic.
The flow of capital does not decide the flow of people. In reality there is no "prevailing mentality" in favor of the greatest possible profits. These simplistic and incorrect premises fail to accurately describe free enterprise.
Of course companies like to make profits, but they often give up profits in order to maintain their market share, their employment levels, and to stay competitive.
Him...Him...F Him
I’m sure the Pope has many staffers in various positions to help with functions of the office. They should seriously consider hiring a guy who whispers in the pontiff’s ear, “STFU”.
We know. :-(
The pope can take his head and the funny hat that rests on it and shove it up his posterior! Let the pope preach to Catholics who are dumb enough to listen to him but the rest of us out of it. You can be a Pope and a socialist but you can’t be a GREAT Pope and a socialist.
Let’s take a poll. What’s the other Pope think?
Has the Pope figured out why everyone wants to come to the US yet?
