Cruz is my number one. Trump my very, very distant no. two.
Trump is my guy, but will vote for Cruz any day over amnesty boy.
Me, too. Never again will I hold my nose. I am not looking for purity, but for a candidate whose actions most closely align with my principles.
Trump does not have a conservative record at all - only a past of liberal actions combined with a set of anti-establishment campaign promises today. There is almost no alignment between his actions and my principles.
I also have been told multiple times by Trump supporters here I am not needed to win the White House. They mock Christianity to demean Cruz. And now, they want to play like a voice of reason.
I’ll be voting for Cruz soon, but I’d rather have Trump than Mrs. Clinton or Sanders.
We can’t keep it.
The media has done it again. Trump has spent diddly on media but he’s there every time you turn on the TV. I know, they get ratings. They tout his ability to work the media, but I believe this is deliberate. Trump is NO CONSERVATIVE by any definition. We’ve lost the Republic to the cult of personality. We’ve lost the country and I truly believe, there will be many eating crow starting in January 2017.
Here is my message for all you Trump Trolls.
I will not vote for Trump. Never.
If he is nominated, I will write in Cruz.
And, no matter how much flak you post on Free Republic, I will not be moved!
I’d take Cruz or Trump. Both are far better than our recent choices: McBackstabber and Mittens.
