Charlotte is 2 democrats for every 1 republican. There is a large black population which is also going to vote democrat every time. It is hard to vote any non leftists into this council in an election.
Governor McCrory has just said that the state legislature will intervene. Hopefully it will happen fast.
Also, the leader of the lgbt organization working with the council to pass this monstrosity is a convicted sex offender. 20 years old and abused a 15 year old.

Give it time. The usurper will ultimately dictate a national bathroom “equity” order overriding any state or local edicts to the contrary.
At this point, the Republican cows will go along.
