Charlotte’s city government is about as left-wing as Berkeley, CA’s was about 25 years ago. But that is symptomatic of the entire country. Big cities are where liberty goes to die.
As America groes increasingly urbanized it is indeed, as you say, doomed.
I can attest to this. I live in the City of Charlotte and there are SO MANY folks from NY and NJ moving here that they are changing the political dynamics of the area. Keep in mind though that the Major of Charlotte is a gay lesbo sympathizer so i’m not surprised this happened.
