GOP presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson told Politico on Tuesday that it is “a bit of a stretch” for President Barack Obama to claim he identifies with the experience of black Americans, because “he was raised white.”
“He was raised white,” Carson said of Obama. “Many of his formative years were spent in Indonesia. So for him to claim that he identifies with the experience of black Americans I think is a bit of a stretch.”
During an interview with Politico’s “Off Message” podcast, Carson said he was “proud that we broke the color barrier” when Obama was elected, but Obama’s experience and Carson’s experience were “night and day different.”
Politico’s Glenn Thrush asked Carson, “Are you curious at all about what his experience was like? I mean, when he was elected—“
“What experience?” Carson asked.
“Experience of being elected. Let’s just stop it at Jan. 20, 2009, right? Was that significant for you? As somebody who sat and watched that – I was there. I was in the crowd. It was a pretty interesting moment in American history. Did you derive any joy out of that, any sense of pride? How did you process that?” Thrush asked.
“I did not—I mean like most Americans, I was proud that we broke the color barrier when he was elected, but I also recognize that his experience and my experience are night and day different. He didn’t grow up like I grew up by any stretch of the imagination – not even close,” Carson said.
“He was an ‘African’ American as opposed to an African-American,” Thrush said.
Obama was raised White, Marxist and gay. That is enough for one person to have to deal with and more than any country should endure in a president.

He smoked dope in Hawaii. He was given a college education. He was virtually given all positions since then. He travelled to the middle east. He hated and hates our culture.

If you want to win an election you have to define your opponent and not give him/her the chance to define themselves. They laid back and Trump has defined himself, Jeb, media etc. He has put the word liar on Cruz label. The loans he forgot, the Canada born he should have disclosed years ago himself. Cruz apologized for Iowa, pulled ad with woman he should have left running, photo shopped Rubes when tons of pics of him available, apologized for Rubio Bible dust up. Fired Tyler. He plays into the label. Now he is ignored. Lucky to get 15% of vote. Amazing thing to see and very very sad.

It is really sad that African-Americans have been completely ignored by POTUS Barack Hussein Obama, except for pandering to sports figures and playing up ghetto violence, for political purposesm which he has not lifed a finger to resolve, so that our nation can remain divided, as Obama so ardently desires. .
The economic, opportunity, education, family structure of African-Americans is nonexistant in many depressed sections of our nation. Obama, the CBC, The NAACP & the Democrat Party has used and abused the overwhelming number of Black Americans and kept them in “economic slavery” for purely political purposes.
Methinks it is time for Black Americans to say goodby to their Democrat masters and diversify to leaders like Donald J. Trump who will do more to help and assist them obtain decent jobs, good education and most of all, stable and reliable famlies!!! Folks you have ur chance. With Clinton or Sanders...all you will do, is stay on the plantation of economic slavery...that you have become accustomed by virtue of Obama’s gift to Black America!!! Wake up!!! You have been had!!!

Why didn't he make this an issue earlier? Obama is not even the descendent of US slaves, except that one of his mother's ancestors might have been the first freed slave in the US, before the Revolution.

There were no barriers broken. There is only a lawless President and Administration emboldening blacks to likewise flout the law, which ends up in getting them shot or jailed, which ends up in BLM antics, which only increases the divide between black and white.
Obama is the most divisive person to ever walk the planet.
Carson is exactly right. How many times have you heard of him white grandparents since he got elected? ZERO How many times did you hear about them when he was running? Every five minutes. They raised him when his communist mother was running around with Frank Reynolds and other lowlifes.
My dentist told me right after Obama was elected that he asked an old black patient of his if he was excited about Obama becoming president. The old man replied “He ain’t as black as I am.”
I hope Ben stays in until the end....He’s a good man... Black Americans can learn a lot from him. He’s enjoying himself.
