It also seems strange that some other states (also) have the parties voting on different days?

Seems like a waste of resources.

I also find it strange when more and more states are opting for early voting, or at east lengthier voting windows, that caucus states are limiting voting times down to the hour of one day — in this case, Nevada, — be there at 5:30 pm or forget it. At least Republican caucus rules are paper ballot vs. that Democrat moving around the room business that probably lent itself to small town colonial America but not the population of today.
