I forgot to add my other prediction, even though he dropped out early:
Mr. New Jersey himself, Chris Christie.
You’re going to have to get over it.
I predict none of the other R candidates.
West is outstanding.
John Bolton Sec State.
It was a mere pleasantry, in response to a question.
Why would Trump go through all this effort to win nomination and then pick a RINO as VP? So far, Trump has stated he wants someone who agrees with him on immigration/illegal scumbags, a political peep, someone that could actually be PRESIDENT, someone that can help WIN, obviously someone with ENERGY. I don’t see very many that can make a short list, but Palin would certainly be on it.
THe VP selection has nothing to do with the VPs political views, it’s about who can best accomplish the goals and AS I SAID the VP doesn’t formulate policy, the President does.
Get it?
Nope, she’s establishment and socially liberal. Connected with GWB in everyone’s minds.
Having a woman on the ticket would be a drag. Many people including women don’t want a woman president. It would cede the first big advantage over Hillary right out of the gate. History is not good for a woman V.P. based on Ferraro and Palin.
Thad, Thad, Thad, is that you????
I’m not talking about Trump’s V.P. thank you.....
He’ll pick someone who shares his views and vision.
And who was born in the US to parents who were citizens, for starters.
I think Kasich would make an excellent VP pick for Trump. It's not like he's young enough to come back 8 years later and want to be POTUS.
Kasich would be an EXCELLENT choice to shepherd legislation and participate in agenda planning.
He has proven time and time again, he knows how to get things done. Many good things.
He just cannot be allowed to have policy control. On policy he is weak.
Senator Jeff Sessions- Alabama
Kasich? Read his “cupcake” story above...
Trump said could also be POTUS. That means the VP has to share his viewopoints. Not just someone who knows the machinery.
West? Yes!
The V.P. has to be ready to be President and is in line to take the Prez’s 3rd term if he gets that far. He should have the same goals and political views as the President as much as possible. No one agrees 100%, but to pick someone who disagrees on his signature position, immigration, would be a buzzkill for his supporters.
