He has called Santorum “a great guy” on more than one occasion. I would not be surprised by such a pick but it would be two from the virtual north east.
I cannot see anyone he is running against now on the ticket so it will be something out of the blue.

Sigh... If remember when the job of the Vice-President was to go to funerals.

Sessions is a good guy, but not sure about his age and leaving senate. If Sessions is on the short list, I have NO problemo!

Oh please not Walker. I can’t stand that guy. I could live with Kasich, Scott or Guiliani. Well or almost anybody but not Walker. :-)

Duncan Hunter
Senior or Junior?
Either man would make a fine VP however I would lean more to Duncan Hunter Sr., one of the original incoming House members in the Reagan Revolution of 1980, a true Reaganaut, a combat veteran and patriot in every way, and at 67 years old, he's not too old to serve.
GREAT IDEA!

Western PA isn’t really the northeast. It’s solid midwest sensibility. Philly is like New Jersey but Pittsburgh is more like Ohio and West Virginia.
Pennsylvania is also an electoral college prize if Republicans can swing it. Anecdotally, Trump seems popular here in PA with senior citizens and blue collar types, but absolutely toxic with young people and urban liberals in Philly.

I was thinking Christie for AG now that Cruz is probably off the list.

Never Rubio, the Gang of Eight Amnesty Guy. A liar and a cheat he will not even be able to carry his home state. Floridians hate him.

I hate that idea. She’s pro affirmative action (which means she’s racist) and WAY too tied to the Bush administration. We just got rid of one of those - I don’t want them getting in again via the back door.

“You want somebody that can help you with legislation, getting it through.”
I was hoping Trump would go this way; like JFK did with LBJ.
Trump could use a Congressional ramrod, and VP would have the most gravitas, not to mention, technically the VP is chair of the Senate.
A past Senator that knows the ropes would be a good choice, say someone like Jim DeMint.
But the fact that Trump is thinking this way is an indication of who he would surround himself with and why, namely competent, capable people he could delegate to and trust to carry out their assignments with minimal oversight. Like any GOOD businessman does.

Condoleeza Rice would be an excellent pick as she is also Russian foreign affairs expert and we know Trump wants to have some calm words with Putin.
Kasich, Christie. I don’t think Walker is on the list anymore.
Frankly, I wouldn’t be surprised if he picked Bernie Sanders to form a coalition executive.
