[ Like the Continental Congress— remember them? The British should have taken them out and shot them,
meeting in secret and all. Ridiculous. People are free to associate in a free society. ]

Conspiracy against repression and monarchy is obedience to God.

Conspiracy against the people you are supposed to represent is treason!

By your logic Several of the acts passed in the 1790’s shouldn’t have been passed like the “Logan Act”...

” The Logan Act (1 Stat. 613, 18 U.S.C. § 953, enacted January 30, 1799) is a United States federal law that forbids unauthorized citizens from negotiating with foreign governments having a dispute with the U.S. It was intended to prevent the undermining of the government’s position “

but hey, talking to our enemies is “freedom of association”, right?

And two jihadi-Americans talking to each other is just dandy as it is “freedom of association”....

Politicians should never belong to such “Secret Societies”...

“Secret Societies” had their place when information was suppressed by a monarchy or other totalitarian, but in a “Free Republic” such “Secret Societies” can be used to subvert the very freedom and knowledge they were originally founded to protect and safeguard.

George Washington himself warned about the subversion of secret societies in the 1790’s....

[ Well that is the place where the male elites of this nation come together and plan their backstabbing toward The American People. I’m surprised to see that photo of Ronald Reagan being there. ]

No doubt some people when there to try to “work withing the system for good”...

But the whole concept of the place just creeps me the hell out. Public policy and MAKING OF PUBLIC POLICY should always be... well..... PUBLIC!

Can you imagine how women would be talked about if we had all these secret societies? We'd be considered childish or crazy.

Not childish or crazy.

Fatal.

If you put any of the little clubs you are in over your country you don’t deserve to stay in this country. Same goes for islamists who put islamic law over american law. Or any group for that matter. If your club is just a place where you wear silly hats and socialize them fine. But should never supercede you being an american. If having a k of c or masonic liscense plate or sticker gets you out of a traffic ticket they shoulf dump you and the officer in jail and let the two of you rot.

Well said. I agree.

You have a problem with the Masons?
*******************************************
My dad was an active Mason from the age of 21 until he died at age 77. I permitted four of his lodge brothers (a couple of whom I’d known since a young boy) to perform their rites for him at the grave site and they were all wearing their aprons (like Geo. Washington in a famous painting).

Dad never talked to me about the Masons. After he died I wrote the head shed in Waco and requested any information they could provide me, as I was researching my genealogy. The reply was clearly “NO”. ...Very secretive bunch.
......................
Hey folks, don’t forget about the Skull & Bones members from Yale Univ. ....Several US Presidents and high officials were members of that secret organization, as well. Both Clinton and Bush 43, most recently as I recall.

Why would an elderly man who is said to have had so many high risk health conditions go to a, “elite” hunting expedition and go alone? The article says his son was supposed to have gone with him, but didn’t. Maybe the son felt so [feel in your adjective(s) of choice] at not having been with his dad on this trip, that his immediate reaction was that he didn’t want an autopsy that would determine his father’s cause of death.

These videos give me pause in regards to this secretive gathering. What’s up with the rituals. Why do national leaders meet in secret and perform such rituals?

I don’t have the answers, but I find this very troubling.

“I am a 4th major degree AOH, but it does not make me less of an American! Also a 3rd Degree K of C & may God help us if we cannot become members of a Holy Fraternity in the once free USA without your permission. (expressed or implied) Grrr!”

I’ve read through this thread and found it quite enlightening if somewhat sickening at the progression in the thought processes of Americans that has taken place over the relatively short period of a few decades.

To much too embecilic tv, too much social media slop, too many video games and a subversive educational system have changed the whole landscape of thought in America.

In today’s society, anything that promotes common sense, manliness, animal husbandry(as opposed to “animal rights”), or the “iron sharpeneth iron” philosophy of comradery among males that excludes women; had bloody well better be secret, else the well conditioned, politically correct, gender neutral crowd will gasp in horror and dub it creepy and satanic.

“What did Clinton and Newt say”

Clinton said it was a bunch of naked Republicans running around in the woods or something like that.

Newt was asked about the stories and he really didn’t answer. Just asked the guy if he really believed everything he heard or something like that.

When the Bohemian Grove was told they needed to integrate the staff, their reason was that men were free to urinate in the woods and this freedom would be hampered. I think they finally allowed female employees, but the females are not allowed after dark or something like that.

“Did you notice? The Post noted that the two coming from Houston were big Republican donors. No mention of the host being a huge Dem donor.”

No I didn’t, but you are right. There’s also the story that Scalia met with Obama at an Air Force base the afternoon before he left for the hunting trip. I haven’t posted that because I haven’t found a reliable source yet. Obama then went to California and Scalia to this resort.

“This one is interesting. Look whose name is placed as speaker @ 3:45 a Supreme Court Justice - interesting. I’m surprised that placed has not been burned down by lightening strikes. A very weird place is all I can say.”

Very Interesting. Very Surprised to see Clarence Thomas listed as a speaker at the Bohemian Grove in 2012.

Reagan did not attend after he became President, but he evidently did attend as Governor. It’s in some of his letters.
