Donald Trump is doing some Super Tuesday spending, pouring more than $886,000 into broadcast television advertisements that will air in at least a half-dozen states that will vote March 1.

The billionaire's campaign purchased ad buys in six states that will air through Tuesday, a tracking firm confirmed to POLITICO on Thursday.

Trump has spent hundreds of thousands of dollars placing ads in Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia that will be on broadcast television networks through Tuesday, when 13 states will vote in the Republican primary.

Big deal. Bush spent millions of dollars on attack ads. And I’d venture to guess that Cruz and Rubio and their PACs are spending more on ads than Trump.

But Trump will get better results for a fraction of the money spent

We need someone like that in government

Trump supporters were just bragging earlier about how Trump isn’t spending any money on ads. Welp.

Duncan Hunter on endorsing Trump; "He hasn't spoken to Trump and said he knows Trump doesn't need his endorsement: "That's another reason I like him", he said."
"Welcome evermore to gods and men is the self-helping man. For him all doors are flung wide. Him all tongues greet, all honors crown, all eyes follow with desire. Our love goes out to him and embraces him because he did not need it."

I think Cruz is spending $175K but that was before he sent me two beg-mails this afternoon. Probably a couple more from Heidi yet to come...

And I don’t see anything that says these are negative ads. Just “ads”.

“But Trump will get better results for a fraction of the money spent

Precisely what I was thinking. I bet he gets the most bang for the buck on these adds.

I was in SC before the election and the ads were insane. There were more political ads than ads for products. I never saw a Trump ad, though. Must not have needed them.

Rubio and Superpac spending about $2.5M for Super Tuesday. $1.5M of that in Texas.

PACs are holding back and not spending much on Super Tuesday. They are waiting for Ohio and Florida.

“900 grand for ST seems like pocket change to me?”

This was posted on FR earlier today. If it’s correct, then Trump is spending the 2nd most of any republican candidate leading up to Super Tuesday. Not really what i call “chump change”

I prefer not to get railroaded. “Make America Great” is no more of a plan than “Hope and Change.” Both are vacuous pabulum that means what ever the listener wants to hear instead of giving a real plan. The current cult pf personality president is done enough to destroy our country, I don’t want another just because he sticks an (R) next to his name.
